The new site incorporates a number of significant improvements, resulting from extensive usability testing from our nationwide base of nurses and allied health professionals. Upgrades include an enhanced navigational structure, improved search capabilities and a much clearer design.

The new website also provides additional features such as travel nursing news and resources, a traveler photo gallery, and a featured jobs RSS feed that highlights some of Onward Healthcare’s premier nationwide positions. Viewers are also given the option to apply online if they are interested in any of the jobs; however they are not required to do so to view the rest of the site’s content.
In addition to the numerous upgrades aimed at serving the travel professional, the site also has an expanded presence for Onward’s local per diem nursing and allied professionals. “Local staffing has traditionally been more of a phone based or in-person experience,” said Stephen Saville, vice-president of local staffing services for Onward Healthcare. “We are excited that our re-launched site will provide our local staff with additional online benefits such as managing their profiles, accessing their compliance paperwork, and maintaining their skills checklists.”
Onward Healthcare was one of the first companies in the travel nursing industry to launch a corporate website with the ability to apply online in 2002. Onward plans to launch future enhancements to the new site over the course of the spring, including expanded RSS feeds, a dedicated section for allied healthcare and travel nursing news, as well as additional resources for travel professionals.
