ENGLEWOOD, Colo., March 28 /PRNewswire/ — Farmers now have a new, cost-effective way to implement RTK accuracy in their operations. Leica Geosystems announced its new RTK Network Package that will allow farmers in established Leica and Trimble(R) reference network locations to upgrade to RTK accuracy for just $8,990.
The package includes Leica’s mojoRTK Console, an 8-mile range upgrade and an unlock code that allows the console to communicate with established third-party RTK networks. The package price does not include a network radio, which can be purchased separately from a local reseller.
“The new price points available for the same RTK accuracy farmers have come to expect is really changing the precision ag landscape,” said Trevor Mecham, North American business manager. “Plus the open architecture of our system allows farmers to pick and choose hardware and software options that fit their needs and their budgets.”
The RTK Network Package will only be available through Leica Geosystems Premium Resellers, but will provide a very cost-effective solution for farmers ready to upgrade their equipment to operate with RTK accuracy.
